Coles and Tassie Mums Unite to Combat Children’s Hygiene Poverty in Tasmania

In a powerful new partnership, Tassie Mums has teamed up with Coles to tackle the pressing issue of hygiene poverty among children in Tasmania. This collaboration marks a significant effort to ensure that vulnerable children across the state have access to essential hygiene products.

From September 1st to 30th, Tasmanians can contribute by visiting any Coles store in the state and donating new, essential items such as socks, underwear, baby bottles, nappies, wipes, and toothpaste. Collection trolleys designated for Tassie Mums donations will be stationed at the front of each store, making it easy for shoppers to give back.

Madeleine Glover, Operations Manager of Tassie Mums, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Access to hygiene products is crucial for the health and wellbeing of Tasmanian children. By donating, you're giving children the opportunity to feel supported and valued by their community."

John Carrington, Regional Manager of Coles, echoed this sentiment, adding, "We're proud to support Tassie Mums and hope these donations bring a positive change to the lives of Tasmanian children in need."

This partnership is a testament to the power of community in making a real difference. Together, Coles and Tassie Mums are working to ensure that every child in Tasmania has the opportunity to thrive.
